What happens to your insurance policy when you get married in the state of Alabama

Want to know if your coverage gets cancelled or changed if you marry. Regardless if they change their last name.

Your coverage wouldn't get canceled if you get married. More than likely you two would combine both of your plans into one to get the type of plan you are going to need.

Car insurance? Depends on age and records. Under 25, it often goes down in most places.
HOWEVER, why not call your agent?
