What did I do to my shoulder?

Whenever I move suddenly or quickly it hurts a lot. It started maybe 3 or 4 days ago. I twisted my shoulder a weird way when I was helping my grandpa move something. At first it hurt a lot but then it stopped hurting so I didn't think anything about it. The next day, it noticed this starting. Also, it sometimes hurts when I don't move suddenly or quickly. So it seems like it's completely random when it hurts and when it doesn't. I weight lift once a week, at it has gotten worse since I did it Friday.

Omg you have a case of shoulder bursitis. Your bursa (tiny fluid-filled sac)that functions as a gliding surface to reduce friction between tissue is inflamed. Your bursa can be infected so you need to see a doctor. You might get over the counter medication but the thing is you'll get the correct medications to apply and prevent from worsening. That's what happened to me.

Ksmnitte is probably right. However it is very unlikely that it is infected. Usually an inflammation. Try an anti inflammatory like Motrin or Advil for 5-6 days and rest it
