Do you think my last name has any history behind it?

My last name is Lansing.....do u think this has to do with Lansing,Michigan or anything else?

Yes, I am pretty sure your last name does have something to do with the state. All of our names have meanings and where they came from. It could be your family wanted a new name, and they were close to the city of Lansing so they chose that name.
