What do you think it means? honest opinion? read the details in the bottom?

Ok my friend asked the guy I like if he liked me, the guy i like said "only as a friend right now" so then my friend is like "oh ok" then he waited a while then my friend asked the guy I liked "Do u ever c ur self going out with her(refering 2 me) some time soon?" and the guy I like said "yes IF I get 2 know her better" what do u think he means by that ?? :o? like we been hanging out for a while a now we mostly go to the movies every Saturday and we have each other for a class so we kinda talk alot is it what he is saying that we might have a chance to be more than friends or is it that I'm just a friend and that's all i will ever be?

It means he wants to get to know you better before deciding. It means there's a chance. Chill out & be yourself. You're going to freak him out obsessing about it. :)

You have a chance to be more than friends. He just really wants to get to know you that's all.

I think it means that if he continues to get to know you better and he likes what he sees than you have a great chance of dating. But don't get all annoying and clingy because than he will be confused. Just continue being friends for now. Hope this helps.

In my opinion, I think the guy feels like he does not yet know you in an intimate manner; your values and what you have in common. I think you might have a chance to be more than just friends might, since he is interested in knowing you better.
