For a 15 year old, it would be impossible for him to support a child and the mother. For one, most jobs require you to be 16. Second, you have to go to school if you ever want to become something. In the meantime, you'll need to pay for a babysitter since your girlfriend needs to go to school also. Then between school and waking up in the middle of the night to take care of the baby, you'll be worrying about the cost of diapers and formula,. Oh, that's right, there will be trips to the Dr also, so you have to figure on medical bills. If that doesn't stress you out enough, you have to make enough to pay the rent, utilities, food, etc. To add more pressure, you probably don't have your license nor can you afford a car, the insurance and gas. Having a baby at 15, means your childhood is over. It's no longer playing games and getting to do what you want. Everything centers around the baby. Friends now come second assuming you have any time for them at all. The life you knew, no longer exists.
At 15, you don't stand a chance without the support of family.
You're gonna grow up real quick, real soon my man. I hope you have a close family member. Prepare to enter the fun world of physically demanding jobs. Working at a fast food chain or something relevant to that won't cut it.
To simplify the answer, it will be harder than you think.
15! Next to near impossible! If you have family support from your mom and dad, maybe it's barely doable. I remember feeling like I was old enough to take on the world at that age....unfortunately for you the world is run by real adults with educations you will now probably never have, you aren't even legal to drive or drink?! What makes you think you are capable of molding and reaching a child?! Say goodbye to the life you could of had and hello to struggling and poverty.
15 is still a child yourself. You can't legally drink, vote, drive a car, or go to military. You must still have your parents consent on the majority of your medical & legal issues. 15 is too young, that is why you are a minor & a teenager. If you haven't already fathered a baby, get serious, wear a condom. If she is already pregnant, I hope you have the support of your parents and/or hers. You are going to desperately need it.
I am not as negative as all the above... You have gotten yourself into one of life's hardest lessons! You will grow up fast and where there is a will there is a way! I believe you can do anything you put your mind too. There are places that hire 15 year olds and I wish you luck! (you can't change what is done...keep moving forward)
