You should rescue a dog! There are a gajillion dogs that need homes. Go to www.petfinder.com to search by breed. But, to answer your question, try www.puppyfind.com. Beware!!! You need to avoid backyard breeders (BYBs) who breed whatever designer breed is in vogue at the moment, and don't care for them properly, breed them without cause to inherited diseases, etc. Always check the background of any breeder you engage with. But again, rescue!

TOTALLY AGREED! DO NOT BUY DOGS OFF THE INTERNET!!! Go to your local shelters and ADOPT! If you buy a dog from the internet it is likely from a puppy mill and you will end up with a sick puppy that will cost you thousands and thousands in veterinary bills. PLEASE, opt to ADOPT!

If people wish to BUY A DOG and NOT ADOPT A DOG that is one good thing about our country THEY ARE ALLOWED to.....sometimes people want a PUPPY and they wish a Certain Breed so they know WHAT TO EXPECT in A FAMILY PET! I myself have DONE BOTH and was very happy every time but once. I got a dog for "$300" becuz they neutured it and it was a horror and it tore up our whole yard and made damage in our home....so to each his own wishes...and don't JUDGE

And, I was a BYB of Siberian Huskies for 13 years. I had ONE male, and ONE female and she only had 2 litters of her own. We studded him out a few times. BYB's are NOT the satan of dog breeding. Puppy mills are! Our dogs were extremely high quality and AKC nearly died when we produced FIVE Red, blue eyed, male pups who all ended up being great quality dogs, some were in shows, and all were sold to homes and owners who had to be approved, first. Good grief, some of you "dog snobs" are just ridiculous.Stop judging people and leading others down your own invented path.

You can ask for one at an SPCA and if there is one anywhere in the United States they will actually bring him to you. Avoid puppy mills

I did not pay $2500 for my dog at AZ Pomskies nor did I sign a confidentiality to see parents, not sure what you are talking about. I paid 1600 before shipping plus I got videos. I also saw pictures of parents and saw them in person. They also keep in touch with me. Plus they have great reviews from previous owners.

I found pomskies at pomskie pups for sale on facebook
Report as
Just go to their website azpomskies.com they have a cool facebook page that allows previous owners to post on their site. So, when you like their page because it is private they will add you and you will have access to previous owners photos and updates. It really is very cool. One of the Osbournes bought their puppy and has a facebook page called Elvis the pomsky!

All I have to say is stop telling people to go adopt, because guess what... Pretty much all of the people I know with pure bed animals also have rescued as well. Because what happens to those pure bred animals if no one does choose to get one? don't be a hypocrit, and stop telling people how to live their lives.

AMEN! I typed my response before I read yours. That whole things gets on my last freaking nerve.

But the only way breeders will breed less animals and hence fewer animals end up in shelters is if everyone adopts! Yes, of course pure bred animals need a home too but the whole point of adopting is to try and get out of the a negative cycle of animals being overbred, sold as status symbols and abandoned. So there is no shame in trying to promote adoption. You could actually say the people who buy pure bred and adopt are the hypocrites; supporting breeders who may have ultimately caused their adopted pet to be abandoned. Again this is not to say you should 'like' any animal more or less because it is from a breeder but you try to be more understanding as to why someone would urge you to adopt, they are probably an animal lover like you.

Why is it that as soon as someone wants to buy a dog there is ALWAYS someone chastising them and telling them,"*GASP!* You should rescue a dog!!!!" What if the person just wants a certain type of dog?! Hello?! They DO still have the right to want a particular breed, or raise one from a puppy, ya know. I HATE that...And, I'm all about responsible ownership, rescues, etc. But, leave people alone!!

But ask yourself WHY someone wants a certain type of dogs, of course everyone has some level of preference though choosing a pure bred dog is generally pretty superficial and I'd say temperament wise dogs are more similar than different if they are raised properly.

The most comprehensive source of Pomsky information I have been able to find on the internet is PomskyHQ.com. The web address is http://pomskyhq.com

They also send out email alerts whenever new Pomsky breeders are located.

Yes you have to pay for those alerts. Not worth the time or the money. Plus they are nor a breeder or owner not sure what qualifies them to write about pomskies. I would go to pomsky pups for sale or the PCA before the pomskyHQ page

I would caution anyone looking to purchase a pomsky to read up and do your due dilligence. There are a lot of scams out there and I recommend visiting the following website for more information:

http://pomskyscams.com

PomskyHQ page is ran from another breeder. Just another scam asking us for money and the breeder gets to use to market themselves, talk about shady! You get a list of breeders but you must pay for it. You can find breeders for free online by google search. Just avoid scams by making sure they've got past buyers and reviews.
