What does that have to do with Christianity? Seriously? The tree is part of the secular side of Christmas. When to put it up or take it down has absolutely nothing to do with any religious stance. Its a purely personal thing. My mom takes hers down the day after Christmas. I take mine down on New Years day. And i know a couple of folks who still have theirs up. Timing of decorations going up or down have nothing whatsoever to do with God or the Bible or anything else.
it doesn't depend on the religion. Technically the tree has nothing to do with the true meaning of Christmas. The one thing on the tree that actually resembles Christmas is the star on top. so whenever you feel like it

As a Catholic Christian, I can give you a recommendation: Take it down the day after the Epiphany, which is the feast of the Wise Men, the day we remember their bringing their gifts to the Lord during his nativity. The Epiphany is the official last day of Christmas for Catholics, not the 25th of December, which is the day we celebrate the Lord's birth. This year, the Epiphany was celebrated on the 5th of January. The date of it varies each year, but it's generally around the end of the first week of January. And please remember that putting up a Christmas tree is a Christian tradition. Secular folk may *choose* to have a Christmas tree, but for us Christians, it is a Christmas tradition and there is great significance to it, including its star, its ornaments, its lights and the gifts underneath it; for starters, the triangular shape of it represents the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. When people say "I don't know what the tree has to do with religion," here's your answer.
Seriously that is completely silly to worry about that. And tree is from secular tradition, just as many aspects of Christmas celebration are, including the timing of the holiday itself which is at time of winter solstice.
I was born Jewish and yes, I have a Christmas tree, which has absolutely nothing to do with religion. Take it down when ever the heck you want to. Might you go to hell if you take it down at the wrong time????????
