When Will I Receive My Homestead Rebate?

The Division of Taxation began mailing Homestead Rebate checks last July 31, 2008. Applications filed on or before June 2 will receive their checks more or less by the 1st week of August. If you haven’t applied yet, the deadline was re-extended until October 31. If you file on or before Aug. 15 homestead Rebate are scheduled to be mailed in the fall while applications filed between Aug. 16 and Oct. 31 will be sent after the initial fall distribution.
