The 'need' for college depends entirely upon your desires, and career expectations. If you want to be a auto mechanic, or a hairdresser then you don't need college. But if you want to get a white collar or a high end blue collar job then college will pretty much be required. (but not always!) It depends upon what you are trying to do for work, and what specific career you desire.
no its not pretty much every good paying job requires a college education it is well worth it unless you wanna make minimum wage the rest of your life i suggest going. plus its one of the most fun time you will have in your life
probably. most people come out w/ loans equal to a mortgage and no job. Now your a slave to debt. you'll take any job(s) to pay it off. The trades especially engineering are going to be in short supply. There are fewer and fewer people fixing cars electricians, plumbers, appliance repair. there's good money in them if your good. I made great $ in HVAC-R. People always need heat/ refrigeration and want A/C, willing to pay. Nothing more pathetic looking than some dude w/ 8-9 month pregnant wife in the middle of July w/ no A/C. He'll pay anything to get her off his back. Then there's the rich old ladies" My library has no A/C." " Lady it's 4th of july I'll have to charge you double time+1/2"." Do you have the parts on your truck now?" KILLING. Go to a good tech school.
Sometimes if you don't know what you want to be in life. Like my friend went to school two year to become a EMT It takes 3 year. August of this year would make 3 year but now he's been offered a police officer Job! My point is going the school for a EMT was pointless but instead he could have went for criminal justice and with the degree and being a officer you make more money it's just something's you don't know!
- On average a person with a college degree earns $1 million more in a lifetime over someone with a high school degree. - In a modern civilization, intellectual prowess pays more than brute force - College is more about proving that you can complete the assignment completely by yourself. In other words - are you responsible. - The process of hanging out with intelligent people encourages you to become a better person - High school is an edited picture of the world. It is edited because the powers in charge do not want to hurt anyone's feelings. In college, all the ugly dirty little secrets are laid bare, your ideas will be challenged, you will be given the intellectual tools to challenge the ideas of others. - When you are ignorant, you have no choice but to follow those leaders who claim knowledge. When you have knowledge, you can prove that the leaders are ignorant.
