What should I do about my dad's sleep apnea?
My dad is 49 years old and has very severe sleep apnea. Our family has a history of heart attacks and depression. My dad weighs about 300 pounds and has struggled with his weight for a long time. A few years ago he went to a specialist for his sleep apnea and the doctors told him that he has the worst case that they have ever seen. On a scale of 1 to 10 they told him he was a 20..My dad has taken no initiative to deal with his weight or sleep apnea. He is no longer going to a doctor for anything and no longer has health insurance. I am very worried about all of his health risks. Is there any way I can help or anything I can do?
