why are scenes in movies so predictable?

Report as

Because the writers think the public is dumb. They also pander to formulaic scripts for profit.

Due to lack of creativity in the movie industry, things tend to be overused so often that it becomes almost instinctual to know how movies work. Like learning how to work a puzzle.

It's the pot . You can see into the future . Jk Everything is pretty generic now a days everything was inspired from a film or idea that has been around for quiet a while .

Movie studios tend to reuse plots that prove successful at the box office. It's not impossible for new ideas to emerge, but this makes it a lot harder on script writers - write a script that will sell and pay your rent, or write something brilliant and original and have to skip breakfast?
