What is the smallest font TYPE? (not size)

I know that the smallest font SIZE is 1 or so but what is the smallest font TYPE? I'm trying to be conservative and to get as many facts on a piece of paper as I can.

If you want to use a small font size and still keep the document legible for most people, some good choices of small font type are Helvetica, Arial, Times New Roman, and High Tower. Avoid the cursive ones as they may be too hard to read.
