Yes!! Every malignant form of cancer can kill you. With treatment, 80 to 90% of women with stage I cancer and 50 to 65% of those with stage II cancer are alive 5 years after diagnosis. Only 25 to 35% of women with stage III cancer and 15% or fewer of those with stage IV cancer are alive after 5 years. The problem with cancer is that it doesn't stay put and just destroy one part of the body. It likes to spread out and kill everything it can until the host itself dies.
If you are not treated on time it can kill you. Cancer goes with stages and there is a stage that you cannot even undergo chemotherapy, but you are give medicine to ease the pain. This is why it is always advisable for women to go for Pap tests. You can prevent this disease by having a vaccine if you live in US. You better believe it. My Aunt died of cervical cancer, leaving her little kids motherless and her husband, helpless and depressed. If cervical cancer is not treated, it will spread to other organs and eventually cause organ failure and death.
