The cheapest neighborhoods for apartments are in Inwood, Washington Heights, Astoria, and Sunnyside. For a studio you can pay anywhere from $800 to $1000 per month. A one bedroom will run you $900 to $1400 per month and a two bedroom anywhere from $1200 to $2000 per month.
