OK pal. What do you consider extreme cold weather? Most people like myself prefer normal cold weather gear. I'm not a down fan. You get it wet you get hurt. I prefer man made products. Polertec is a good example of one of these products. You get it wet and it can still insulate. Northface and LL Bean are good places to go. I wouldn't use Columbia gear to store my trash. There are many places that sell but don't create gear. Most of them are very good. Campmore comes to mind. NOW. If you want to survive serious weather. Like Alaska cold and snow. Outdoors 24/7. Check out Wiggys. They're from Colorado. They make the hardiest gear in the world. They produce their own insulation and gear. They can't be beat but they charge. None of their gear is cheap. Check out their website.
