Eating lots of lettuce is one of the methods that you can use to lose weight. This vegetable is filling while at the same time good for roughage. It clears your digestive system quite well, is nutritious and is filling at the same time so you do not eat other foods.

Yes, but only because the lettuce is used to be a low calorie filler-upper. ex; If you eat lettuce (salad) it fills you up, causing you to not eat other foods. That's why salad's are good for you to eat before a meal because you'll eat less of the main course which will most likely be a higher calorie food. I have only had one whole salad. It had steak, lettuce, and A1. Meat all day baby!
That's all true. The problem is that I don't like leaves. Throw some mushrooms, olives, green & red peppers.a little bacon bits, a couple cherry tomatoes, a little egg, croutons, olive oil, chicken, steak or seafood & 1000 island dressing. My caloric intake not to bad, lots of food. The 4 beers a 2 pieces of cheese cake blew that diet. I gained 30 lbs. So now I just eat a whopper & fries & lost the weight I'd gained
