how can I fix his bad breath?

Brush his teeth. "Dog toothpaste" is mint flavored, but you can get toddler's toothpaste. It's not minty, and it's safe to use with dogs as it doesn't foam a lot and it doesn't matter if he swallows it. Use soft toothbrush, and only do it for a second or two at first if he doesn't take to it.

On our dogs I use a dog mouthwash type thing we got from the vet. You just squirt on there teeth and rub there teeth a lil. Its fast and easy. Also there a spray you can get for dogs and cats called plaque away.

try rewarding your dog after. So try to get that toothbrush in there as much as you can then give him a treat after. Overtime he will sit still and accept it because he knows there is a treat at the end of it. At least that's how we got my dog to do it! Trust me, from experience, it will take some patience and time. Good luck!

My dog has had some serious dental issues so we have to brush his teeth and give him special mouth wash. On the plus side it has made a big difference in the bad breath department!
