I hurt my back working out over a year ago, I was doing incline pushups from a chair and my lower backs been messed up since. What did I do?

it hurts when I stand for a long time or to bend over at times, is it pinched or slipped disk? I was 21 when it happened. also I stacked two or three chairs, don't remember exact #

If it's hurt for this long, you damaged a disc. Its time to go to the Doctor. Sometimes a Chiropractor can help, but you shouldn't have waited this long. Something could have healed wrong and formed scar tissue.

Not always. If its not to bad, chiropractic care can help make the scar tissue more elastic.

The pain on your back could indicate that you sprained the ligaments or muscles on your back or the ligaments on the discs. The sprained or dislocated disk could be pressing on a nerve. You should visit your doctor for better diagnosis and treatment.
