I have noticed a pattern in my dogs whining?

it sounds vague, I know. but what it is is that if I cry while my dog is in my room.. he starts to whine.. I know it sounds weird but I'm just kinda curious if there is reason..

He can sense you are sad so he is sad to. You are his best friend. :0)

If I am angry with my hubby, my dog pees on the bed skirt on his side of the bed.
Never my side though.
Dogs will sense your emotions before you do!
Let him cuddle with you but be aware that if he feels you are sad the 'pack' is in trouble and he will try to take over by being dominant.
When I am sad I let him cuddle but only after I invite him to do so, and, I do not let him put his feet on my chest or try to lead me about by walking ahead of me.
Both dominant traits in dogs.
He will be much happier if you let him know you are still 'head of the pack'.
