Body rash. Small areas. Thighs, forearms, neck, torso. Blotchy. No itch or burn. Can't feel it. Lasted over 1 1/2 years. Has spread. Help?

The description pretty much covers it, other than; I've looked at over 100 different rashes, and I haven't found a match. I can't feel the rash, it's like it's not even there. I've had this, and it's been consistently present for well over a year, now. I just want to find out what I have... The rash consists of mostly circular, small/medium sized dots, that are spotty, and vary in size. On my thighs they're more present, but they are larger, and misshapen, unlike the others but it still looks to be the same type of rash. There is no heat when you touch them, or sensation, it just feels like you're touching my skin. There IS a very small layer of dry skin on the rash. Almost invisible. I hope my description has helped a little more. THANK YOU TO WHOMEVER CAN OFFER ME SOME HELP!

This has gone on a year & 1/2 and you haven't seen a doctor..??
That's what you need to do, and you ought to do it ASAP.
It could be a harmless skin condition, like psoriasis or rosacea. It's possible it is pityriasis rosea, but that rarely presents on the thighs & usually lasts 6 to 8 weeks -- not a year & 1/2. It's typically on the upper body only & sometimes on the neck. It doesn't itch, patches may be dry & "scaly," sort of orange-colored in appearance.

I can't tell you what it is, but I can tell you it may be a symptom of a serious underlying condition.
Please don't ignore this rash any longer. Just because it doesn't itch or hurt does NOT mean it doesn't need medical attention. Make an app't. with your doctor, or a dermatologist, get your rash checked out & treated as soon as possible. :)

Why would you not have seen a doctor by now?
