Why do baby boys get circumcised

Report as

The extra skin over the penis increases the risk of inflammation. Which was a very big issue before the modern medicine because you could have literally die from it, if not you would have had to get castrated.
But since thanks the modern antibiotics that is not a real problem.
So it is up to you. Since it is done under anaesthetics the child wouldn't feel a thing. And it is not a risky operation at all. So there is no harm. In my personal opinion it gives more character to the penis. You might think that it doesn't matter but it really does.

Medical science is now saying there is no real reason to do this. Boys can easily be taught to keep themselves clean by sliding the foreskin back while they bathe. Such action is NOT considered playing with themselves. The thought is that nature put the foreskin there for a reason; most mammals have it.

It was done for religious reasons. Boys should be taught to clean themselves & dry properly & then there is no need.
