Do solicitors argue in court or barristers do?

so i've been looking out for answers on the internet whether barristers represent their clients in courtroom or solicitors do but i couldn't get my answer, some webpages answer that they are the while some conclude that barristers are allowed to argue in court while solicitors help, and some say solicitors are allowed while barristers do the paperwork, i don't actually understand so i decided to ask for myself, as a criminal lawyer, or any other, but mainly focused on criminal law, do solicitors argue in court on behalf of their clients or is it a job for barristers?

In SC solicitors are what we call lawyers.. In Britain they are called barristers. Both argue the case.
