Where can I get an answer as to what happens to prescriptions a doctor faxes to a Walgreens pharmacy.

It's been more than three days and still no action taken by the pharmacy. They say that they haven't received any prescriptions by said doctor.

Call your Doctor's office and explain that they need to fax or call in the prescriptions. Someone has made a mistake somewhere. Sometimes the pharmacy will offer to do this if it's a refill.

it is always best to get your prescriptions from the doctor your self as this will prevent losing it, or someone stealing it and taking your meds for them self. go back to your doctor and ask him to write it our for you in person

Actually it's a little of both parties fault. The pharmacy will say they've received nothing and the doctors office will say they faxed it. Call your doctors office and tell them to please call your prescription in by phone, this way you know it gets done. Both places are at the mercy of their staff.
