Why do I keep vomiting?

I started yesterday at church and then came and did it a few more times and now I'm lying in bed with a bucket that I've been vomiting into since midnight, now it's 3. I haven't been running a fever yet but I do feel just plain weak right now.

Have you eaten anything "questionable"..?
The vomiting could be caused by food poisoning, a virus, excess stomach acid, or foods that just "didn't agree" with you. Whatever the cause, you need to keep yourself hydrated. If you have any ginger ale, drink some. Ginger may settle your stomach, as well as keeping you hydrated. Drink ginger ale, Gatorade, plain water, apple juice, or plain chicken broth.
When you start to feel hungry, go easy & eat only mild foods first. Try a few saltines, they can help settle your stomach. The "BRAT" diet is recommended when your stomach is/has been very sick. Stick to this diet until your stomach settles down.
Broth (such as chicken soup)
Rice
Applesauce/Apple juice
Tea/Toast
Add as many clear fluids as you can to that diet. If you do develop a fever and/or cannot keep any fluids down, or can't stop vomiting -- go to the ER. Dehydration can happen very quickly. At the hospital, you'd get IV fluids to maintain hydration. Rest & feel better. :)

There is a dwarf in your stomach shoving food back up your throat to make room for itself
