Who can help me with Physics?

Brandy leaves her kitten in a 150 watt microwave for one week. The bill from the electric company comes to 3 dollars. Calculate the rate that the company charges for energy.

Not enough information. How long did the microwave run? Electric companies charge by the kilowatt-hour. 'Watts' measure power, not energy.

I may not be able to answer the question, but Mac, can I have the address of that power company? I'd love to sign up at those rates.

Am I the only one who's concerned by the fact that there's a KITTEN in the MICROWAVE?

We need more information.

Not too concerned, Kagota san. $3 for keeping the kitten in there for a whole week wouldn't use a whole lot of power. Probably just enough to keep it there at night.

Besides, only Schroedinger would keep a kitten in a microwave, and we all know that his kitten could walk through walls. So if it became uncomfortable it could just pop out for a glass or two of catnip. :D

Vive le chat!

Sorry, my fingers have a mind of their own. I meant, "keep it warm at night".

Yeah, 150 Watts is just going to be nice and toasty.

and... it's not really in a microwave, Kagota-san, you can't take these questions literally you know...
