okay here's a hint it's how I got through that annoying equivalent fraction stuff. No matter what the fraction is if you add a 0 to both numbers it's equivalent like 40/50 and 400/500 4000/5000 are all equivilant

Any fraction with the same number on the top and bottom (numerator and denominator) is equal to 1. Multiplying anything by 1 = an equivalent answer. Therefore, take your 4/5 and multiply it by ANY fraction that has the same number on the top and bottom, and you will have an equivalent fraction as your result. Say I choose 2/2. 4/5 x 2/2 = four times two over five times two which = 8/10. Say I choose 7/7. 4/5 x 7/7 = four times seven over five times seven, which = 28/35 and on and on endlessly. This is another way of saying the same thing others above have said. Hope this helps.

8/10, 12/15, 16/20, 20/25, 24/30..... you pick. You can find an equivalent of a fraction by multiplying the numerator and denominator by the same number. In this case I multiplied them by: 2,3,4,5,6
