How much do my space heater and humidifier counteract each other?

I have an oil-filled electric space heater and a cool mist humidifier in the same room. How much heat is the humidifier sucking out of the air through evaporative cooling? And where does the moisture go when the space heater dries the air?

Moisture doesn't go anywhere when air is heated. As air gets warmer the amount of moisture it can contain increases. Cold air has very little moisture, so heating it results in very low relative humidity. The moisture evaporating from the humidifier will absorb some energy (heat) but that energy remains in the moistened air. The air will heat slightly slower, but the energy is being used to increase the relative humidity.
