How can i get my choir teacher fired?

she picks favorites, takes videos of students, snapchats in class, and teaches us almost nothing, and goes on her phone all the time in class. all my friends in my grade agree with these things. any advice?

You got a phone? Get a video of it. Videos are undeniable evidence. Then tell your teacher I have video of you not doing your job, if you want to keep your job I suggest you start doing it or I take this video to the superintendent if schools and file a formal complaint against you backed by my recorded evidence. if I was your parent you did all you need to to get me in that class tony elk the teacher myself how its gonna be.

You can't get her fired but you can tell administrators. I'm not sure why you'd want to get her in trouble because that's like a free period. But if you really do want to do something about her, tell administration.

Yes tell. She is not earning her salary.

I said if she really wants to that she can tell. But you never know what kind of teacher may replace her.

That is her career. That job might be the only thing holding her family up. If you get her fired, you are taking that away...

but she does not deserve it if she does not try to reach any expectations. If a mother or father just said "I can not be asked with this child" it could get killed and they will go to jail for harming another life. If you are trying hard then you should be given the opportunity to reach high expectations and to have a good future. That is taking something away from a child.

Who are you to decide who deserves what?? HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN, CAST THE FIRST STONE. If its that big of an issue, talk to the principal.

If she isn't doing her job, she is taking her own job away. She is firing herself. If you hire somebody and pay them money, and they aren't doing their jobs, are you seriously going to say, "I can't fire her because she has a family to feed, or it's her career, and I will take that away from her." You're paying them for NOTHING! If you have a business and do this, you are putting yourself and her out of business! So you're both going to go hungry as she will take you down with her. Why are people so short sighted? If I want to learn how to make music, and the person getting paid to teach me is not fulfilling her end of the bargain, that is a violation of her contract. It is a waste of tax payer money. It is unethical to want something for nothing. It is immoral for the teacher to be on the cell phone during class, yet in schools all over the country, students are asked to put up their cellphones during class. You have every right to be mad, and it's her fault, not anybody else's. What kind of corrupt nation are we turning into, to think it's the kids fault for turning in the lazy, corrupt teacher? She has to go! Make sure you gather enough evidence to prove your case, a video, signed statements from the others, and a statement from you. Finally ask the principal to administer a test to the class to see how well this teacher has taught her class. Once he sees how poorly she is doing, voila, she's on probation or even out. Good luck to you.

If it is really what is holding her family up and/or it is what her passion is, then she should be actually doing the job instead of just slacking off.

Tell your counselor or principal just what you said in the description. That is unacceptable and wrong!

You can't, unless you complain to the principal, have HARDCORE proof, and tell him clearly what she's doing, and why you want her fired.

If she is not doing her job the students grades should reflect it.
Talk to your parents, have your classmates do the same.
She will be called to conference with administrator. Don't bet on her getting fired, the "favorites" will vouch for her. Sounds like you aren't a favorite. Working on that might be a better route.

Don't record her because I think doing that without someones permission is illegal and pretty much sure a form of black mail on the other part. Just talk to her during your lunch break and let her know you feel upset. If she doesn't change then tell her assistant principal.

Shame on you. You can't. If you are having a problem with the teacher, speak to your parents, the principal, but simply asking about getting the teacher fired is just plain rotten.
