Is it natural to second guess yourself after you put your animal down? If you should have waited a little while longer?

Report as

If your pet was suffering in any way, then it was time for it to go to a better place. It is natural to second guess, as you just lost your pet, and you might be feeling guilty. But now that they're not suffering anymore, it's better for them

Sure, I did that. I still think about all my pets that died, sometimes. Should've walked him more, should've been more affectionate, etc. It's natural when something or someone dies.

Most people feel that way, just from missing the animal. It is the hardest part of responsible pet ownership, knowing that moment when the best way to help your pet is to let it go.

Of course it's natural. How can you not regret making the decision to put down a pet? I'm sure it was the right decision, though. :)

Definitely natural. Youre probably just missing your pet. It is always the right decision. Better to put them down then have them suffer c: Stay Strong.
