My best friend and I are drifting apart, what should I do?

Were more like sisters and we've known each other for about 2 years. She use to smile every time we saw each other now she's just has a look that says "I'm bored." Our conversations don't last that long and she doesn't seem to be that into them, I always try to drag along the convo and her responses are like two words. Maybe it's because we don't have any classes together this year but we still see each other every day. Today she said she doesn't think she's gonna sit with me on the bus anymore because she feels like she's louder when she sits with other people, it's true I could hear her laughing and talking from where I sat. She didn't mean it in a mean way but it kinda hurt my feelings. I don't know what to do but I don't want to lose her.

I know this is a difficult time for you. I would suggest that you speak with her about your concerns. Express your concerns to her. Be honest with her. Tell her that you miss how your friendship use to be. Here are some short articles for you to read that will help you as well:

Talk to her about it, or invite her to do something fun with you so she can find some interest in you again. And best friends don't really drift apart that easily, so maybe the communication between you two is the thing that's fading. It takes 2 people to make a strong friendship/relationship.

Has she gotten interested in new things that you aren't familiar with. Learn about them. Or if you have new interests she doesn't understand, include her in them. Teach her about them. However, sometimes friendships just wear out; each person had changed but in a different direction and you run out of things in common. Not every friendship lasts a lifetime; it isn't anyone's fault.

Well, what I think is she is not into the friendship like you are. Because if she is, she is going to make an effort to connect with you, no matter how far you've grown apart. a relationship is a two way street.

Leave her, there will always be a new friend around the corner. I know it sound hard but I've done this multiple times with girl and guy friendships. I always have someone to joke around with, you can't tie me down to one friend.
