Any tips to make me less freaked out about going to sleep?
I have this fear of transitioning from being awake and going to sleep and dreaming. Dreams freak me out because you don't know you're dreaming during them and it's not reality, and they're just weird. And also I know that you only dream for about 30-45 minutes on average every night, and a lot of times your brain is just kinda off and you're getting energy for the next day. The transition happens so soon for me whenever I lay down and try to get some rest and it freaks me out that it just happens where I'm not even conscious and I don't like it and I'm losing lots of sleep because of it. Any suggestions? I don't know anyone else with the problem and it makes me feel kinda like there's something wrong with me. And I do have some anxiety and social anxiety, if that could have anything to do with it. It's 2 am right now while I'm typing this, so try to ignore any grammar mistakes. I'm exhausted. Please try to answer me, I really need some help and no one really knows how to help me, I mean I NEED to sleep.
