I have a recipe that calls for 2 tsp of dry mustard. If I don't have dry mustard can I use regular mustard?

I don't think there's any comparison between regular mustard and dry mustard. Dry mustard is a very distinct, even strong seasoning. Mix it with a little water and you have a very hot mustard sauce. So no, you can not substitute regular mustard in the recipe.

No that'll really screw up the dish. Dry mustard doesn't taste or behave like mustard in a bottle.

If you have Grey Poupon it would be better, but yes you can use the yellow mustard, I would use less, like 1 1/2 rather than 2
