Why don't we have malaria in Florida?

There are mosquitoes and people...

Report as

Malaria is only carried by mosquitoes, but not produced. Mosquitoes drink the blood of someone who has malaria and then goes to another person and drinks a little of their blood, while also passing on the disease. If there isn't anyone in Florida with malaria (or who hasn't been vaccinated against it) then your fine.

There is no malaria vaccine yet. Somehow, they had to keep out or eliminate all the cases of malaria in people, right?

In places where there is no malaria, that is.
