What are some products failing in today's economy?

One would be the manufacturing of equipment that is tied to the new home market. Not many new homes are being built now. I work at a company that builds this type of equipment, and the sales have been low for about 3 years. Also, car sales have been hurt. With so many people having a hard time just making it, we are learning to fix and reuse. I know a few car dealers that have struggled for a few years as well.
