On my discharge papers from a recent hospital stay, in my patient info section it says, 'Status: Adm INo'. What does that stand for?

On your hospital paperwork, the term ADM is the short code for Administration or Admitted, different hospitals use their own term. This means that you were Admitted to the hospital. Code I think you mean IN0 (zero) IN0 means that you had your own bed in the hospital. You were not held in the emergency ward with several other patients, you had your own room, either a shared room with another patient or your own room. So basically ADM IN0 means you were admitted to the hospital and were given your own bed.

?Status: Adm Ino? stands for ?Status: Admission Inpaient.? It simply means that you were admitted as an inpatient for observational purposes. So, it really isn?t all that important in the scheme of things.
