When you go to the ER (for an x ray for a possible broken bone) are you required to have a physical done, i.e. measuring height/weight, etc?
I think I may have broken my wrist or arm in general and I want to get it checked out but first I just want to know if when you go to the emergency room, it's necessary to get a physical there or if you can just go by your most recent physical information? I'm in New York State by the way, I don't know if state laws have anything to do with this but just if it does. Thanks in advance!
