What is the worst and best thing about being a psychiatrist?

Report as

The worst: having to spend the whole of your working life listening to other people's woes -- both real and imaginary.

The best? Your patients never die and never get better, so you're guaranteed a lucrative income.

The Worst is maybe hearing negativity all day long, seeing people cry, and having to keep your own emotions in check. The best is maybe the pay, and hopefully you can help a person to recover....

The pic was Blasted Remnant's idea. I posted the Grim Reaper somewhere and he suggested mounting the pillion behind him. I may have to lighten the background. It's a bit hard to make out.

The worst: they have no cures. The best: if you are simply a talking doctor and can just listen to people and acknowledge what they say and perhaps give some helpful advice, you may get somewhere. Unfortunately, their technology of the mind is a false science, so why many people go into that profession to help, the tech they learn is actually destructive.

The possibility that you're crazy and the rest of the world is sane.
