Here is why nobody is right. terms are separated by operations such as add, subtract etc. So there are two terms in this problem. 3y and 3y and because they are like terms they can be put together. To be a like term you have to have the same letters aka variables or if the letters have exponents (little numbers on the top right of a number the letters and the exponents must be the same. Good Job Nobody.
