How do you know if your goldfish is a girl or boy? The big one chases the other.

sorry nana18. I was trying to search and find an EASY way you could tell but this was it.. I was confused too and didnt even know where to begin on trying to clean it up for clarity. Sorry. Keep researching though

The female Goldfish are a little bigger than the males and look heavier in the abdomen when they are full of eggs. Male Goldfish develops white spots on their gills and pectoral known as "breeding tubercles" during spawning time.

i have a big one which i think is the female and a smaller one the male..but the bigger one goes after the smaller one.It tries biting the tail and something like kissing it too.
