Can foster kids get married while in foster care if their birth parents sign for them too?

I'm a 16 year old foster kid and me and my fiance want to get married. My real parents still have their rights and will sign for me.

It's been a long time since I was in foster care, but when I was your parents might still have parental rights but they are not technically your legal guardians since you are not in their care. You would probably need to get the consent of your social worker or guardian ad litem in order to get permission to get married. With that said, I consider 16 very young to be getting married and think you should consider waiting until you are of a legal age on your own to get married. If you are still with this boy after a couple more years then get married and sign your own wedding certificate. Your parents may not be the best people to make decisions considering you're in foster care and not in their care.
