Will hair loss from poor nutrition grow back?

Im 17, and over the past year or so, i've lost around 20 or 25 lbs. my doctor said i wasn't eating enough calories, and now i am trying to recover by gaining weight back. i noticed recently that my hair has been falling out more with the follicles on the end,and it looks somewhat thinner in certain areas. im wondering if it will grow back if i put some more weight back on, and if theres anything i can do to accelerate regrowth. thanks.

Yes,damaged hair can always grow back. You may have to cut off the damaged hair so that it can grow back healthy and thick . You will have to keep heat from your hair ,and other chemicals that may be harmful to your hair out.
