We are having a lot of rain and my outside Christmas lights went out. why? and how do I fix them?

This was probably due to a short circuit due to the water. Electricity and water are not what we would call great friends and when water gets into electrical appliances or gadgets, they short circuit. Get an electrician to look at it to avoid risk of electric shock.
