will unemployment pay for school

Report as

It is possible to use your unemployment benefits to support your schooling. However, you have to be aware o the risks that doing so carries. Remember, the unemployment insurance benefit is given only to those who have not yet found a job but are active and willing to take on any that fits their qualification. If you would be going to school, you are technically no longer available for work. If you are unsure whether you would be able to face the risks, visit http://www.unemployment-tips.com/unemployment-and-school.html to see what you can do about your situation.

that really isn't accurate. the only way i could get the assistance of money for school was because I was on unemploment. They consider it a huge step and as equally important to finding a good job so u will not get penalized for going to school and being on unemployment...u can work and go to school and possibly qualify for even partial unemployment. each case is individual but they will actually give u money towards school...i received close to 8k for my two year schooling. call the local office to discuss it and they will walk you through it step by step. I only had to attend one "training" class to determine I was competent and could handle the classes. Good luck!!
