What could cause the fuse that controls the heater in my 2002 Toyota Corolla to blow every time I make a hard left turn?

I've replaced the fuse 3 times in the past week, so it has to be some sort of electrical problem. I've taken the car into my mechanic, and he has no idea what's wrong with it yet. Any ideas on what the problem will be or how much it will cost to have it fixed?

The fuse that controls the heater blows mostly if it is worn out causing little air flow from the vents; this is one of the initial signs of blowing. Other signs involve the blower only working on one setting and loud clattering when it is turned on.
