600-850 is fair to good
500's poor to moderate
Under 500 poor to really really bad

you wont get a loan from any legit lender

Well considering it's near the bottom of the scale (300-850), yeah it ain't good.

The scale is 300 to 850. Considering it is near the bottom of the scale, it is ok. It is more than half of 850.
