Would this diet work?

if I only ate fruit & drink water & exercised half an hour to 1 hour a day, could I lose weight?

That's a stupid diet your just starving yourself. Eat normal and exercise. That's all you need

yea, probably, but it wouldn't be healthy. a good diet has the correct amount from each food group, not just fruit and water.

My sister did that diet and she lost a lot of weight. Even though she didn't need to diet.

Fruit has tons of sugars. Only fruit? Not a great idea. Eat things low in fat like chicken, fish. Vegetables. Some fruit is ok. Eat portion sizes and instead of three meals eat 5 small ones throughout the day to boost metabolism.

yes but bad idea eat your normal food but you have to exercise for more then that much so u wont starve while your losing weight

that would give you a really runny stomach... you need bread n whatnot... just get a good amount of exercise and eat only when you are hungry...

I would highly recommend that you eat things with soy beans or legumes(Beans) in order to keep some nutrients that would help replace the missing nutrients that you don't get from meat. Also you will still lose weight from this. If not try to limit calorie count in a day to only 18-1900 calories a day. Source: Doctor

Also eat things like nuts, veggies, and maybe some chicken and fish if you aren't vegetarian.

You will loose weight in the wrong way, You will again put on after few months because you cant survive on fruits and water everyday, consume lots of proteins like boiled chicken, egg whites. Or if you are a vegetarian then eat soya beans. consult a dietician.
You shouldnt loose more than 3 kgs in a month, if you loose more than 3 kgs that means your diet is completely wrong.
