The adoption agency were you came from will have the records. From personal experience don't go into it planning on a relationship. Everyone will react differently myself and others I know all have had different outcomes sometimes the mother father or child won't want a continued relationship. Be ready for that. But that being said it is great to meet your bio family to see the things you have in common due to genetics not your environmental that you have with your adoptive family go slow one day at a time. Good luck. The agency or family services most likely will have pre meeting counseling available. Take advantage of it. Your adoptive parents may even have more info than they let on mine had my bio last name but be mindful of their feelings when you go about this as they may feel some rejection. Again all the best and if the only outcome is just meeting or knowing who they are it will be worth the time you spend doing this

Finding someone is not that hard these days. Finding them for free may be a bit of a challenge, but it can be done. I cannot help find him, but I can give you tips to get started. First, find out all you can from relatives. His full name, any aliases, where he was born, where he lived, where he worked and what his birthday (or birth year) is. From there you can begin to search on the internet starting with google. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much information even the white pages can offer. You can also try places such as Ancestry.com. I wish you the best of luck in finding your father.
