If a guy texts a girl does that mean he likes her?

well he knows my friend likes him and when she texts him he texts back but he says he doesn't like her and all his friends say he doesn't like her..and she asked him to walk with her home and he said no? does he like her and just not saying? they talk though. There is this other girl that he talks and flirts with her sometimes and stares at her but he doesnt have her phone nuumber...but he always seems to stare and talk and stuff at her is it possible that he likes her not my friend?

Boys and girls can be friends I have a lot of guy friends and none of them like me

He might just like ur friend as a friend, n mayb the other girl wouldn't give him her number or he's jus too afraid to ask for it
