Early Christian Art was produced between the year 100 to the year 500. I am not quite sure about the period you are referring to , however. The Byzantine Art style surfaced around the year 500. The funerary art was not made visible to the public, it was placed in the tombs of the dead.Funerary art dates back to over 50,000 years ago. And was a ritualistic practice at funerals.
