How to get the main points and new ideas in a long academic paper

tons of readings draw me mad,im doing literature review of my graduate paper, more than 100 papers found, but difficult to get the main points, how to summarize or my my review efficient.

Look for patterns in the lit u are reviewing. What story does it tell? Is there agreement, controversy. Around what issues? How is the work previously done related to and relevant to the focus questions you are pursuing? Do some provide greater clarity than others? What can you add after your review?
